Lupe Fiasco "Food & Liquor 2: Great American Rap Album Pt. 1" First Week Sales Projection

Lupe Fiasco aims for a lukewarm debut on next week's chart.

The first week sales projection for Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor 2: Great American Rap Album Pt. 1 has been revealed.

According to Hits Daily Double, Lu's latest is slated to sell between 85,000 and 95,000. The projection is noticeably soft compared to the first week sales of 2011's Lasers, which bowed atop the Billboard 200 with 204,000 copies sold. His prior album, The Cool, sold 143,407 copies in its first week, while his debut Food & Liquor moved 81,000 units in the same timeframe.

The low sales will put the LP behind Mumford & Sons, whose new album Babel will top the charts with 575,000 to 625,000 units sold. Green Day's Uno will sell between 150,000 and 175,000, while No Doubt's Push and Shove will sell between 120,000 and 125,000.
