From crafting hit-singles for Jay-Z and Slaughterhouse, to acting as Reebok’s Creative Director, Swizz Beatz has a lot projects on his plate. Now, the Bronx-born super producer can add a new title to his name, as Black Celebrity Giving has announced that he’s been appointed Global Ambassador for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.

According to the recent report, Swizz will aid the the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and the Fund for the HHC in raising global awareness and financial support for the organization and its programs. His role in the HHC will focus primarily on the relationship between the arts and therapeutic healing.

“[Swizz Beatz] is committed to using his creativity, his innovation, and his international stature to help spread the HHC message on a global scale to promote better health in our city and our world,” said Executive Director of the Fund for HHC Joe Schick.

September 27 will officially kick off Swizz’s role with the HHC at a special fundraising event at the Harlem Hospital Center. Beginning at 7 PM, the event will honor the multi-platinum rapper/producer, as well as members of the Harlem Hospital Center staff.
