Last night, Rihanna gave an electrifying performance as the opening act at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
The Bajan songstress set off the performance with some choreographed moves to the tune of “Cockiness,” a cut from her last album Talk That Talk. Halfway through the song, she flipped to the remix, bringing out A$AP Rocky to deliver his verse from the track.
Ri Ri then transitioned into her hit “We Found Love,” heading into the audience to sing the song while surrounded by the crowd. Making her way back to the stage, she introduced the song’s producer Calvin Harris, who manned the turntables for the performance.
