Eminem Says "Hip Hop Needs" Slaughterhouse's Album
Eminem talks about how "Hip Hop needs" the new Slaughterhouse album and shares that he's learned tricks from Dr. Dre.
While in New York, Eminem and the Slaughterhouse crew spoke about their group and what fans can expect. Em also discussed how he's learned from Dr. Dre in the past and how he's using it with his own label and music.
"I think Hip Hop needs this," Em said of the new Slaughterhouse album during his recent interview with Sway in the Morning. "When people hear it, they're going to be pleasantly surprised, people who don't know what they're capable of."
Eminem also shared that he has learned many tricks from Dr. Dre that have helped him along the way.
"I think Dre was the first one who actually taught me how to count bars. I would just go in and rap," Em shared before saying he's learned from his mentor. "All of Dre's little tricks, I've stolen from him over the years. I've tried to apply it to my own music and everything. Dre taught me so much."
Slaughterhouse also premiered a track off their album, "Goodbye." The audio for the song can be heard below.
