RZA “The Man With The Iron Fists” Soundtrack Stream

RZA is pulling out the big guns for the soundtrack to his directorial debut The Man With the Iron Fists. During an interview with Wired, the Wu-Tang Clan swordsman revealed the eclectic lineup for the soundtrack to the film, which will feature Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, The Black Keys, My Chemical Romance and more.

“It’s very diverse. You have music from Black Keys, music from Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, My Chemical Romance, rock and roll guys, as well as Sally Yeh, who does John Woo movies, a famous Chinese singer,” he said. “And then we’ve got my buddy Howard Drossin, he’s a trained musician, trained composer and we wrote a lot of different cues.”

He also shared his excitement over the fact that Sony handed over the Wu-Tang Clan masters for his use on the film. RZA said that he broke down the tracks and re-orchestrated them, which he also did for records given to him by Stax Recordings.

“One thing I think we did that was so cool for me was we went and got some of Wu-Tang’s original songs, the masters, Sony gave them to us to you, and we took out a lot of stuff that was in it and re-orchestrated it. And then Stax also came on board to help us out and they gave me about 10 of their famous Stax cues, songs from William Bell, from Isaac Hayes, from Mable John. So we were able strip them down and re-orchestrate it. You’re going to have a great time listening to this movie as a soundtrack.”

    1. i dont understand why someone like RZA has to enlist wiz khalifa and kanye west for this project. why cant he just of had the whole wu tang re-connect and make something epic? im sure the movie will be great as it does have the touch of Quentin Tarantino to it!

      1. (Mainstream) Music is business 1st, ART 2nd…unfortunately this is what it has come down to (hence the most lame hip-hop on the radio these days)

RZA has to sell the soundtrack to a big audience, therefore he enlists popular artists mixed in with his favorite artists

In a perfect world, Wu-Tang, KillArmy, Sunz of Man, and the other affiliates would create a masterful soundtrack…but it would only appeal to hardcore WU fans and true Hip-Hop heads-which is a VERY SMALL group!

      2. RZA likes Kanye. They’ve done music together already. Dark Fantasy, So Appalled, New Day. So having Kanye on there is understandable. Wiz is questionable though.

      3. who fucking cares if he a fan and he reached out, the answer should have been NO WAY JOSE, especially after that suspect album cover

    2. Kanye was once an interesting producer and has “personality” though it’s gotten A LOT worse over the years (“Watch The Throne” was straight dogshit) so I can understand that…

Wiz is fucking garbage, retard music for retard people and an embarrassment to MUSIC, period, not just hip-hop.

      1. wiz is a artist that can flow on any song you feature him on and his sound ass a whole is amazing and dodnt get put on like ye did so…… i just had to correct your second paragraph

      2. You must be a high school faggot that wears skinny jeans and just smoked pot for the first time last week lmfao You don’t have any taste in music if you can sit there and say that Wiz is an “artist” and can flow on any song. ANY rapper can pretty much do that. Wiz just does it because he wants money so he jumps on the dumbest fucking songs known to man. Other ARTISTS have more dignity than that. Wiz is lame and his lyrics were clearly written by a 10 year old.

    3. bododododo kill bill won an award for rza’s music on that film and was nominated on other award shows for the score on that film

    4. i’ve enjoyed every project RZA has headed, soundtrack wise, from ghostdog to afro samurai. This dude is a straight up inspiration. I can’t wait to hear this soundtrack.

    5. Kanye, Wiz, My Chemical Romance, Sally Yeh, the Black Keys, Howard Drossin, and some re-orchestrated Wu-Tang masters??? This soundtrack is gonna be weird as hell lol. But hey, it’s the RZA. He knows his music and art. Let’s hope for this soundtrack to be up par with his other soundtracks.

      1. oh shit i must have missed my chemical romance the first time i checked out the tracklist, thats pretty fucking weak, emo faggot shit

      2. I’m sorry, but you’re fucking ignorant and stupid if you still think My Chemical Romance is an “emo faggot” band. Do a bit of research before you blatantly run your mouth.

    6. Seriously though, stop featuring Wiz Khalifa on records. He doesn’t add anything to anything he’s featured on. We get it, you want to sell records, and he’s the way to do it, but damn it RZA. You know he has about as a limp dick.

    7. B*tch the RZA, I stand close to walls, like number four the lizarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!$$$”””%%^&&**())___

    8. 1. The Black Keys / RZA The Baddest Man Alive
      2. Ghostface Killah / M.O.P / Pharoahe Monch Black Out
      3. Kanye West White Dress
      5. Talib Kweli / RES Get Your Way (Sex as a Weapon)
      6. Raekwon / Ghostface Killah / Kool G. Rap Rivers of Blood
      7. Method Man / Freddie Gibbs / StreetLife Built for This
      9. Killa Sin The Archer
      10. RZA / Flatbush Zombies Just Blowin In The Wind
      13. Pusha T / Raekwon Tick Tock
      15. The Wu-Tang Clan Six Directions of Boxing

      holy shit

    9. 2. Ghostface Killah / M.O.P / Pharoahe Monch Black Out”
      6. Raekwon / Ghostface Killah / Kool G. Rap Rivers of Blood
      15. The Wu-Tang Clan Six Directions of Boxing

      Lawd have mercy !

    10. this soundtrack looks boring as hell. lol, where’s wiz khalifa at? it said he was gonna be on this shit. i guess old ass rza was scared that wiz was going to have the best song on here and outshine everyone else. another weed plate for loser purists and backpackers. movie’s gonna suck too.

      1. only in hip hop do young idiots think its cool to be disrepectful, I guess you dont plan to get old…..wait that attitude Im sure it wont happen

      2. Like everyone always tells you everytime you post something…….Eat a dick you stupid little faggot

      3. man none of this music is nothing any more young or old. i guess you just trying pump yourself up about your generation to give you the strength to get our bed. but your generation doesnt even have one classic you aint worth a shit musically

    11. What happened to the Wiz Khalifa feature? This soundtrack is gonna be garbage, just a bunch of shitty old rappers. They should of added actual good artists, like Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki, 2 Chainz, Lil B, or Wiz

    12. This lineup looks tight! Except for faggot-ass boring new-wave hipster-loser Wiz Khalifa…I thought Ghost dissed the shit outta that herb and now he’s on a joint with him??? Im amped to hear the Ghost/MOP/Pharoah joint in particular. I just hope the beats are on point cause RZA’s been mad hit or miss lately. The movie looks like it might suck though…

    13. yes, wiz khalifa’s back on here. i see you haters already. he’s gonna destroy that track and put ghostface and boy jones (who’s he?) to shame. go wiz! TGOD

    14. son of a bitch! RZA still got it LOL! I’ve enjoyed every rza controlled soundtrack, from ghostdog back in my college days, to Kill bill. And it’s good to see Streetlife still spitting!!! SUUUUUUUUUUU

    15. why do people keep working with wiz khalifa? honestly..he has no talent whatsoever..dude cant rap, his voice is corny and boring, his whole style is cotton soft.. i dont get his appeal.. disappointed in RZA for that but the rest of the tracklist looks promising, as does the film

      1. agreed… wiz khagina is like the corniest “rapper” to ever make it big in the history of the rap game… i wonder why Snoop was fucking with him so tough instead of Nipsey Hussle…

      2. i dont listen to Wiz but I can only guess that he is a real cool dude for Snoop to be wasting a whole portion of career cosigning him…

      3. wiz means money
he ain’t that bad for a mainstream artist
at least his mixtapes are still street kind of
still waitin for how fly 2 damnit

    16. I just started smoking weed so i still think its cool to tell everyone that i smoke, and i wifed up a known industry hoe and got the butterface slut pregnant. Hahahahaha Black & Yellow yall

    17. B*tch the RZA,
      I stand close to walls,
      Like number four the lizard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”””””””””””””””$$$$$$$$$$$%%%%%%%%%%%^^^^^^^^^&&&&&&&&&&**********(((((((()))))))

      1. and travel thru solar panels blast off like roman candles, rap vandal, Stomp ya ass like rahoo Mcdaniel… you cocker spaniel dog, get fucked with our catalog, put ya lights out, and leave you brain inside a fog.

.. It’s only natural … actual facts are thrown at you

      2. Disrespecting my old earth, aborted my child birth
And every day I catch my credit card inside your purse
You can’t speak a sentence without a curse
Talking ’bout you’re going to be a nurse
Bitch, to be a nurse you got to go to shool first!
When I first met you, you was a hoe
I tried to reform you, bomb you, warn you and teach you
But couldn’t reach you, and you’re still a hoe
Your father said you was a hoe
And when you leave me, bitch you’re gonna be a hoe

      1. I think this is a purely marketing thing so that kids who don’t know about Kool G Rap and Pharoahe Monch go and buy this shit. I don’t like Wiz Vagina but I see why Rza put him on a track..

    18. Classic RZA exec produced albums

      36 chambers
      return to the 36 chambers
      Iron Man
      OB4CL 1 & 2
      Heavy Mental
      Sumpreme Clientele
      The W
      Wu Forever
      Liquid Swordz
      Slient Weapons for Quiet Wars
      6 feet under
      Sick, Pick and Shovel
      Bobby Digital 1 & 2
      Wu Chronicles
      Kill Bill soundtrack 1
      Ghost Dog soundtrack

      1. RZA actually didn’t do much production for the Gravediggaz it was mostly Prince Paul but fuck it he’s a beast and a legend mad props

      2. 6 feet under was nearly all Prince Paul (except for 2 songs). Pick, Sickle, and the Shovel was a lot of 4th Disciple and True Master. RZA co-produced a couple joints, and Prince Paul only 1.

      3. RZA did produced “6 feet Deep” and “pick, sickle, the shovel”. WTF are yall talking about??? He produced the best songs on the album anyway (Dangerous Mindz, Pit Of Snakes to name a few). That was some of The RZA’s best work to date. Sooo ahead of it’s time! I remember every producer in hip hop started biting off RZA style. Kanye West, Justblaze, J Dilla, MF DOOM, Madlib, ALL have elements of RZA in their production.

    19. I saw RZA and UGod saturday night at Double Door in Chicago. Rza is excited about this shit man. Not to mention he is a bad ass performer. UGod doing his Winter Warz verse was killer!

      1. I LOVE me some Wu bruh, but I gotta co-sign JC on this one, that Belly soundtrack was the deal.

“HOW EVER DO YA WANT IT…….”

    20. out of the soundtracks I will ever listen to this will probably be in a tie with Murder Was A Case as to best soundtrack of all time

    21. LOL! The only thing tight about “The Man with the Iron Fists” IS the soundtrack…should have saved all that money and just put the music out

    22. LMAO at the Wu fanatics. You know who you are. RZA and the rest of the Clan could fart on wax and you putos would be screaming “CLASSIC”! I can appreciate what the Wu have accomplished but not all of their albums are great. The last great/classic Wu-Tang song was “Triumph” and no Wu song since then has even come close lyrically and beat-wise. RZA, production-wise, has been mediocre at best sine the “Wu Forever” album and by the way “Wu Forever” would of been much better as a single disc album. Anyway, this soundtrack and movie are gonna suck ass just like most of the so called hip hop music being dropped these days.

      1. The definiton of a hater, lol.

The Clan dropped classic albums or dope albums after Wu-Forever you ignorant spic.

      2. you clearly haven’t listened to the w and iron flag properly, plus all the solo joints, supreme clientele, fishscale, cuban linx 2, no said date etc.

    23. There is a remix competition for “Built for This.” RZA actually picks the winner. If you like my remix, please vote for it so it can reach the almighty RZA’s ears. Make sure to choose the “log in using facebook” button on the top right, then click the THUMBS UP to vote. Clicking LIKE will not do anything in terms of the voting process-

      Thanks!

    25. RZA truly is the man….one og Hip Hops best producers their is no question about it and one of my favorite emcees for the Wu-Camp. I look forward to this Soundtrack. Ghostface Killah / M.O.P. / Pharoahe Monch : Black Out, The Wu-Tang Clan / Kool G Rap : Rivers of Blood , Method Man / Freddie Gibbs / Street Life, Pusha T / Raekwon / Joell Ortiz : Tick, Tock are the tracks to me that will prolly be the best on the album, but the album as whole will still be good….i bet most are kinda like eh with Wiz and My Chemical Romance being on there but wit the mind of RZA, im sure it will sound amazing! Wuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

    26. I have to say I’m pretty excited about the flick and the soundtrack.

    27. I really enjoyed the interview…you can tell RZA is very passionate about this movie and he seems like a nice guy. Big up to RZA and the WU. True Legends.

    28. A Killa Sin solo jaunt is long overdue, he is TOO FUCKIN NICE. If Wu-Tang Clan can’t get along enough to drop another solid group album at least we know the Abbot can still orchestrate and serve us quality shit like this. I will be buying the hard copy for the sake of real hip-hop.

    29. dannnnngggggggg this soundtrack..is harrrrddd…best album ive heard all year…wuuu tangggg. forever ..this is what real music sounds like..

    30. Just finished listening to this entire album, THIS SHIT IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE. Who’d have thought the album of the year would be a soundtrack!?! This is the fruition of RZA’s 5 year plan (anyone who’s read The Tao of Wu knows exactly what I’m talking about). Heady beats, crafty songwriting, nasty verses…and Danny fuckin Brown out of nowhere. ALBUM OF THE YEAR.

    31. this is the wackest soundtrack ever! all these old ass boring rappers behind some of the most boring production ever. wiz khalifa had the best part, hands down. old ass wu-tang is overrated as fuck.

      1. only person who is waaaaay overrated is wack ass wiz khalifa, dude is softer than cotton candy. his pop, rhyme skill lackin ass has no place amongst legends in the game. clearly youve only listened to hip hop for like 2 years. get the fuck out of here with ignorant shit like that! you prob think gucci and jeezy are lyrical too!

      2. This clown has gone full retard. And he’ll probably end up as a label head. Or a fluffer for Tyga on his new porn site.

      3. Someone give this guy a quarter and let him give his stupid opinions to a payphone. WIZ Khalifa….Get the fuck outta here

    32. RZA is a genius, this man has unparalleled wisdom. You can tell how much effort his put into this film and the soundtrack.

    33. Going to see the movie, getting the soundtrack(store-bought) and just keep on listening to WU-TANG! My only complaint has been U-God!

    34. its rza..that whole kung fu wu tang style has always fit them .. and it was becus of that man.. every one alway said dre, timbo, neptune, swiiz..i never hear no one mention the lowkeys monstahs..rza, hi tec, dj uneek, these dawgs made alot of hits..always respect

    35. Wow…that soundtrack was really good. Better than most “rap” albums released for a while. I’ve forgotten how much I missed RZA’s production.

    36. You know, I see ALOT of Wu fans who think GFK is the lyrical prowess king in the Clan. I think y’all are trippin’ IMO, Dirty Mef HANDS DOWN might be my GOAT MC…..why? His cadence, his ability to deliver on verses, and the fact he is so damn witty with his wordplay. TO ME, HE is Wu-Tang, he’s what made me fall in love with them…..well him and Rae’s styles. BUT with that said, GFK, U-God and them boys STILL get it in and I’m VERY VERY excited for this album and I’ve got that Mile High Herb waiting on deck after work……….

      1. My brotha, you really can’t go wrong no matter which swordsman you choose. Ghost is and has been my preferred Wu Tang MC. The Wu Tang pulse will always beat strong.

      2. @First Anon, fam, I didn’t say GFK was wack duke, lol…..simply stated my opinion, Ghost’s lyrics are all over the place sometimes it’s hard to follow him, that’s all. I still love him lol, I just prefer another Swordsman…..that’s all.

@Up North, respect bruh, I feel you, It’s why I said what I said, ALOT of Wu fans appeal to Ghost…..don’t know why they just do….I just like Meth.

      3. GZA and Deck got he illest rhymes an flow, etc, but their albums (lately) just aint as good as other Wu shit. Liquid Swords is still the Wu’s best solo joint though. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I didnt think that as up for discussion.

      4. I agree with MileHigh. Overall Meth is the best member by far IMO. If you just saying pure lyrics regardless of style its between Gza and Ghost.

      5. Love both of you guys, this is WU fam! You both right, this is what Wu is. A matter of opinion whos the best but its all love. To me this album shows RZA is the head fo real, he construct one of the most solid albums of the year that really got the vibe of a WU album and doesnt even got the classic wu producers on. Man u gotta love it, ah fuck it im drunk and my list is.

        1.GFK
        2.Rebel INS
        3.Raekwon
4.Meth (I need that solid Chrystal Meth Album!!!)
        5.GZA.

Its close and i cant even really call it but fukk it, give us one more WU album and im happy as fuck. Aight Peaze Yall from Sweden!

      6. Mef is like Chris Webber – he was the illest for a time but in the end I think his career will be looked back on with a ‘what could have been’ nostalgia

      7. @Wu Wear good analogy…Mef is my fave MC of all time but once someone told me he is the Vince Carter of Rap.. All the potential in the world that went unfulfilled lol

    37. This will be the first soundtrack I will buy in a long time. This album is incredible. Much respect RZA for putting this together.

      1. Tough call on that one. You throw Chamber Music in there and you got a real melting pot of dopeness. The one thing about the Wu is we can sit here and debate about which is album is dopest. That’s how you know you got some quality shit.

      2. @^^
        You’re straight retarded.

This soundtrack, Legendary Weapons and Chamber Music all prove the Wu still has it. Not to mention Rae’s recent albums have been dope as fuck (OB4CL2 especially). And Ghost’s Apollo Kids was fire.

    38. You’re an IGNORANT idiot and FURTHER prove what’s runnin rampant in So Cal…..had this convo wit my boy who is from Hawthorne….you CLOWNS wild out for no reason. Keep actin’ stupid son and killin your own kind. Herb.

    39. Is that why your state is the brokest, most inept and ass backwards state on Earth? Clearly, you’re birthed from it. How about you climb in the whip while texting Y.O.L.O. doing 120 in a Sentra. That would be your greatest contribution to humankind. Faggot.

    40. -“had this convo wit my boy”, What? When you had his dick in ya mouth? Lol faggot azz nigga

-“Keep actin’ stupid son and killin your own kind.”, Yeah bring your bitch azz over here nigga and see who I kill 🙂

    41. Let me answer why I think Big is the GOAT. Not one single whack verse in his career, not a single one. Not a single bad song. Not even Nasty Boy. Greatest picker of beats of all time. Most consistent rapper of all time. His 10 best songs > any rapper’s 10 best songs. Best flow of all time. Had both underground and mainstream appeal because he was so damn good. Lyrically insane, not the greatest of all time but he could put together rhymes that could knock any cat out. And once again consistency.

      1. how can you judge someone’s so called greatness when he only dropped two albums ??

and ready to die is overrated as fuck ??? and i even wont talk bout life after death which is an average album …

damn notorious stans never let the shit go bout this fat fuck

      2. you’re seriously fucking retarded if you think biggie is the goat only 2 albums and all biggie talks about is bitches and money which paved the way for retarded mainstream rappers in the game right now.

    42. rza is the baddest pretty much
date raped beauty infront of the beast… sick
      put togetger a great soundtrack
pharoe monh was a nice addition so nice

    43. RZA and Wu-Tang Clan da wackest niggas ever. Wiz Khalifa killed all deze pussy ass niggaz. Lil Wayne/YMCMB and Rick Ross/MMG run da rap game. fuck old rappers. swag

      1. The shit you call hip hop is just about swag and snapbacks it’s a fucking gay fad that will soon die, Where is the wu tang have been at this for 20 years hard and still going strong, so i suggest you go suck Lil Wayne’s cock some more.

    44. I know its the soundtrack to the movie, but man this aint my type of thang. Even as a wu fan from back then, Rza done a lot better. But i guess this is his new style..which I really dont like.

      1. RZA is a multi instrumentalist now he studied music like it was Kung Fu, As opposed to his old school 2 bar beats he made on a sampler that made him a genius, He now plays his own music & that makes him not as good wtf are you on crystal meth.

    45. to all those putting dow rza,, he only produces like 3 of these beats. he hasnt lost it, yall just a bunch of lost children

    46. im not sure what the FUCK yall are complaining about anyway…
this shit is on point….yall are just conditioned to that 808/synth bullshit…

      this here is fucking great….

    47. Deck/Sheik Louch went hard. Feeling most of this soundtrack. Three of the tracks, I don’t feel. Overall, it’s nice!

    48. Where is the track thats playing when ‘Jack’ first enters the brothel?? THAT track is FUEGO!!!
