People world over were stunned last week when a former Colorado student went on a devastating killing spree at the Aurora, Colorado premiere of The Dark Knight Rises. Now, it looks like Ice-T’s take on the aftermath of the tragedy has led to a feud between he and conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh.

According to XXL, Ice-T told a London news network that despite the incident, he doesn’t plan on giving up his arms. He said that he feels it’s every citizen’s right to protect themselves against oppressive governmental forces.

“Well, I’ll give up my gun when everyone else does,” he said. “If there were guns here, would you want to be the only person without one? The right to bear arms is because that’s the last form of defense against tyranny.”

Limbaugh took umbrage with Ice-T’s comments, saying, “He knew the word ‘tyranny,’ and he knows that tyranny comes from government representatives. Double impressive.”

Now, Ice-T took to Twitter earlier today to issue his response to Limbaugh’s slights. The west coast legend called him “a racist piece of shit,” and said that Limbaugh may want to check his credentials as lecturer at some of the country’s top universities before he challenges him again.
