SpaceGhostPurrp Says He Will Never Record With A$AP Rocky Again

After SpaceGhostPurrp and Raider Klan claimed that A$AP Rocky jacked his swag and stole lyrics for “Goldie,” Rocky fired back at SGP at the BET Awards 2012 last weekend, stating, “Fuck him.” HipHopDX caught up with SGP to discuss his recent album Mysterious Phonk: The Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp, turning the conversation to his spar with A$AP. “I’m never working with him again,” he said. “There’s no A$AP/Raider Klan, none of that shit. Frank Ocean Addresses Sexuality In An Open Letter

Earlier this week, a journalist from BBC posted on her personal blog that Frank Ocean was bisexual based on an early listen of his major label debut Channel Orange. Early in the morning of July 4th, Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr to address the rumors and post a heartfelt letter about his sexuality. In the letter, originally intended as liner notes for Channel Orange, the Odd Future crooner addressed his love for a man when he was 19 years old, but did not definitively state whether he was bisexual or gay. Outside of his highly praised letter, Ocean revealed that he recorded a song with Nas but that the song was seemingly lost due to a technical issue. It is unknown if the song will ever resurface.

Prodigy Elaborates On “Illuminati Is Us” Line, Dishes Story Of Tupac’s Notebook

Following the release of his new album H.N.I.C. 3, Prodigy chopped it up with HipHopDX this week about a few topics. To start off, the Mobb Deep member addressed the line “Illuminati is us” on “Skull & Bones,” explaining how it applies to everyone. “The word Illuminati means ‘the illuminated ones,’ basically,” he said. “And, the origin of that c

omes from the ancient Egyptians, the Black Egyptians that ruled Egypt. They had the schools of thought in medicine, technology, and that’s where everything comes from. So that’s what I mean when I say, ‘We are the origin, of all enlightenment / These pirates stole our shit.’ Like, that’s our shit. We are the original illuminated ones. They took it and used it for something evil.” He also shared a story about what he learned from Tupac’s notebook. Read the full interview here.
