Big Sean is currently at work on his upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow up to last year’s Finally Famous. During an interview with DJ S.WHiT on the “Femme Fatale Mixshow,” the G.O.O.D. Music rapper said he has nine songs already knocked out for the project and plans to release the offering’s first single either this month or next.

“Yeah, it’s coming man. We almost done with it. I’ve been working my ass off, man,” he said. “We’ve got so many songs. We’ve probably gonna have to drop a single this month. If not, definitely next month. We already got it. I probably got about nine songs for the next album, and we just going hard. Of course, I got tons of other material on deck.”

Sean recently popped up on Lil Wayne‘s new single “My Homies Still,” a track that was recorded nearly six months ago. He explained how the collaboration came to be and said that it was an honor to work with one of his adolescent heroes.
