Nicki Minaj Addresses Backup Dancer's Alleged Implication In Murder Of Fan
Nicki Minaj denies that one of her backup dancers has been accused of murdering one of her fans.
Tragedy has struck Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday Tour, as a fan of the rapper was murdered after the May 25 show in Japan.
Nicola Furlong, a 21-year-old foreign exchange student from Dublin City University in Ireland, was found dead in a Tokyo hotel room hours after the Young Money emcee's show.
Minaj took to Twitter to offer her condolences to the family of the victim.
IrishCentral.com reports that they have made two arrests in connection with the murder. James Blackton, 26, and a 19-year-old, both Americans, are reportedly in custody.
PerezHilton.com reported that one of the men arrested was one of Nicki Minaj's backup dancers, who was not only suspected of murder, but also of rape. Minaj rebuffed the claim in a series of tweets:
> @PerezHilton my dancers had nothing to do w/this tragedy. No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan— Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) May 31, 2012
@PerezHilton that person on your sight is NOT my dancer. We do NOT know the men in custody. Too much misleading information.— Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) May 31, 2012
