Big Boi Says Next Solo Album Is "80%" Done & Will Be Followed By Andre 3000 Solo Album

Big Boi announces that his next solo LP is nearing completion.

Fans waiting more music from OutKast as a collective may have to wait, but it appears that Big Boi and Andre 3000 will be dropping solo projects soon.

The Hip Hop world got a taste of what solo projects from the southern legends would sound like with 2003's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, though the project, which was billed as a double album from OutKast, featured overlap from both emcees. In 2010, Big Boi released his solo debut, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty to favorable reviews.

Taking to Twitter, Big Boi revealed that his next project, Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader, is almost ready:

I'm 80% done on mine, lotta Surprises #weoutchea ask @SHAMONEYXL #DefJam
