Veteran Detroit, Michigan emcee Elzhi has announced summer tour dates. The onetime Slum Village member and Black Milk collaborator will use the dates in Canada, Europe and the United States to promote his second solo album, expected later this year.

This will be the studio follow-up to 2008’s The Preface. Last year, El achieved critical praise for his tribute to Nas’ 1994 debut, inElmatic. The work, backed by band Will Sessions, was later released at retail.
