2 Chainz was arrested earlier today at a New York City airport for possessing brass knuckles.
According to TMZ, Tity Boi had the brass knuckles in his carry-on bag at LaGuardia Airport. He was entering the Delta terminal to fly to North Carolina for a performance, when the TSA discovered the weapon in his bag.
Police were called to the airport and 2 Chainz was taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon. He is still in police custody, but his rep says that his team is “handling the situation.”

UPDATE: HipHopDX has learned that 2 Chainz was in fact carrying a Dope Couture four-finger ring, not brass knuckles. Big Sean also tweeted about the jewelry item, denying that it was brass knuckles.
