The Mic Planet Is In Orbit
Sure to be regarded as one of the years premier compilations, The Mic Planet Sessions is a collection of some of underground hip-hops most acclaimed emcees. Executive producer and industry vet Israel Vasquetelles (aka Iz-Real) goal was to make the album a whos who of quality hip-hop.
I wanted to put together a release that featured many of independent hip-hops most gifted artists, Iz-Real explains. Indeed he did. The Mic Planet Sessions includes contributions from Kool Keith, MF Doom, Planet Asia, Royce Da 59, Rasco, Bahamadia, Thirstin Howl III, Styles of Beyond and Immortal Technique.
