Sure to be regarded as one of the years premier compilations, “The Mic Planet Sessions” is a collection of some of underground hip-hop’s most acclaimed emcees. Executive producer and industry vet Israel Vasquetelle’s (aka Iz-Real) goal was to make the album “a who’s who” of quality hip-hop.





“I wanted to put together a release that featured many of independent hip-hop’s most gifted artists,” Iz-Real explains. Indeed he did. “The Mic Planet Sessions” includes contributions from Kool Keith, MF Doom, Planet Asia, Royce Da 5’9, Rasco, Bahamadia, Thirstin Howl III, Styles of Beyond and Immortal Technique.
