Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg shocked concertgoers at this past weekend’s Coachella festival by performing live with a Tupac hologram. Rumors have circulated that he’s in talks to bring the hologram on tour, but Dr. Dre assures that he’s “thinking about it” and that “nothing is for sure.”

During an on-the-street interview with a photographer for TMZ, Dre said that they’re getting the technology perfected so that the hologram is three-dimensional and not two-dimensional. “I’m not sure right now, because right now, it’s a technology that’s happening where the hologram could be 360 degrees. Right now, it’s flat,” he said. “It just looks like it’s three-dimensional from the front. But working on some new and different things for the future. Everybody’s in love with it right now, we’re having fun.”

Dre, who will perform with the hologram again at Coachella this Sunday, said that he hopes other artists will use the technology to suit their interests. “Hopefully, different artists are able to bring out their favorite artists. Hopefully, we can see Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye. We’ll see what happens.”
