The 2012 lineup for Lollapalooza has been unveiled, revealing that The Red Hot Chili Peppers and a reunited Black Sabbath will headline this year's bill. Lolla will run from August 3 through August 5 in Chicago, Illinois.
Fans can expect Hip Hop acts throughout the festival weekend with several different acts making this year's lineup. J. Cole will be performing at Lollapalooza again, after his appearance last year. Wale will also be a part of the festivities, celebrating the success of Ambition. On a different side of the Hip Hop sphere, Doomtree will make their way from Minnesota to Chicago, fresh off this year's No Kings release. Macklemore will bring Seattle to the Chi with help from Ryan Lewis and Childish Gambino will also head to Grant Park.
Other acts slated to be on the bill include Frank Ocean, Overdoz, The Weeknd, Aloe Blacc and Santigold. Tickets for the event can be found at Lollapalooza's site. Currently, only three-day passes are available but day passes will be sold in the near future, once daily set times are announced.
