A year and a half after its release, Simon Says is making headlines once again, but these aren’t the kind of things that Pharoah Monch wants to hear.

Toho Music has filed a lawsuit over the sample used by Pharoah for his banger Simon Says, which got everyone from coast to coast to coast putting their M.F.ing hands up. They claim that he used a sample from Theme from Godzilla, without permission. Pharoah is being sued for copyright infringement and Rawkus and Priority are being asked to stop distribute the song.

Pharoah and the record companies have yet to respond to the charges.
