Game has announced that he is currently recording a new mixtape.

Though details surrounding the project are scarce, the Compton, California native revealed via Twitter that he’s working on the follow up to last year’s Hood Morning (No Typo): Candy Coronas.

Along with news that he is recording the mixtape, Game also tweeted a picture of him and Meek Mill, who could be featured on the offering.

UPDATE: Game has revealed to Billboard.com that his mixtape will be titled California Republic and will feature guest appearances from new and up-and-coming rappers.

“[The mixtape will] have some new and upcoming artists from out this way,” he says. “You can expect my mixtape to do what it always does, which is consist of a lot of good music and be a lot better than most artists’ albums.”
