
Del The Funky Homosapien's "I Wish My Brother George Was Here" To Be Reissued

The Ice Cube-affiliated album that started the Hiero movement will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a re-release including a bonus poster.
Oakland, California emcee/producer Del The Funky Homosapien's solo debut album I Wish My Brother George Was Here will be re-issued on March 13. The 1991 Elektra Records release from the Hieroglyphics co-founder (t/k/a Del Tha Funkee Homosapien) will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a bonus poster of its cover art.
The album, reportedly an ode to Parliament Funkadelic's George Clinton, featured involvement from Del's cousin Ice Cube, as well as the Boogiemen.
