In order to promote TheClub Paradise Tour,Drake took time to explain why he’s doing club shows instead of going on an arena tour. The YMCMB star also shared his feelings about a more intimate setting and about his connection to longtime fans.
“I just like the energy,” he told MTV News. “I like people to feel close to me because at the end of the day, I’m still at the beginning of my career so, watching me from the 500 level of an arena, I don’t know if I’m mentally there yet. I don’t know if I can mentally accept that.”
Still, he also acknowledged that he is going on an arena tour in the UK.

“Ironically enough, I’m going on an arena tour in the UK. So, I’m gonna have to accept that sooner or later.”
As HipHopDX noted when the tour was first announced, Drake will start his journey in Florida and end it in California.
