Recordings dating back to 1994 will be made available next month from the group that helped get RJD2, Camu Tao and Copy in the door.
Columbus, Ohio Hip Hop group the MHz yielded the careers of would-be independent Hip Hop veterans Copywrite, RJD2, Jakki Da Motamouth and the late Camu Tao. Having released one album, 2001's Table Scraps, the group's single releases with Fondle 'Em and ABB Records led to solo deals with Definitive Jux and Eastern Conference Records.
On December 6, Copywrite will release Legend of The Early Lost Demos and Rare Freestyles, Volume 1. The self-released project on ODot/Left Hand Records, mixed by Scratch Johnson, features material dating back to 1994.
