Kardinal Offishall’s humanitarian mission to the Horn of Africa began airing earlier this week on Canada’s CTV’s etalk as part of a four-segment series.

“This trip changed my life,” says Kardinal, according to cnw.ca. “I saw kids along the Kenya/Somalia border, five years and under, with nothing to eat, no water and not even a place to live.”

The Juno Award winner was taken to Africa last month by a team of World Vision staffers working in the famine zone with President and CEO Dave Toycen.
