Dre’s Mom Keepin It Gangsta
According to reports, Verna Griffin, mother of Dr. Dre (aka Andre Young), was arrested on Wednesday, May 21st for allegedly firing a gun at a friend in her home in Hidden Hills, California.
The shooting was said to take place between 7 and 9 on Monday night. When authorities arrived at her home, which is owned by Dre, Ms. Griffin was not there. Police discovered her car at her car at a close by gas station and found a gun in the car. The next day deputies found and arrested Ms. Griffin at her home. She was soon released on $50,000 bail.
The 54 year old women is now under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon. The other women involved in this altercation was apparently unharmed in the incident. More on this as it unfolds.
