Twista has become the latest rapper to release a mixtape as part of DJ Drama‘s “Gangsta Grillz” brand.
According to Fake Shore Drive, the Chicaco, Illinois native plans to release his new mixtape in January 2012. The tape will supposedly channel the sound of Adrenaline Rush and will be entirely devoid of features.
Twista is also currently at work on his ninth solo LP Dark Horse, the follow-up to 2010’s The Perfect Storm. So far, he has worked with frequent collaborator The Legendary Traxster for the LP, and also mentioned that he wants to put in studio time with DJ Premier.
