Federal prosecutors announced additional charges against Hip Hop manager Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond.
Rosemond has been indicted for allegedly possessing a sub-machine gun and silencer, reports the New York Post.
“It adds several gun charges,” said Assistant US Attorney Todd Kaminsky to a federal judge of the indictment.

Federal law mandates that possession of either a machine gun or a silencer in connection with a drug crime carries a mandatory minimum 30-year prison sentence.
The guns were reportedly seized by Drug Enforcement Administration agents while searching some of Rosemond’s properties.
In response, Rosemond has hired notable attorney Gerald Shargel, whose past clients have included John Gotti, as well as entertainment and business personalities.
Rosemond pleaded not guilty to the new charges.

Currently, Rosemond is being held in a New York federal detention center in connection to an alleged drug ring, for which he allegedly used his job in the music industry as a front.
