Asher Roth Renames Sophomore Album, Announces New Mixtape
The "I Love College" rapper chucks "The Spaghetti Tree" for his second LP's title.
Asher Roth recently revealed that he will no longer call his sophomore album The Spaghetti Tree. Speaking with Power 106, Ash unveiled his new album title Is This Too Orange, and plans on releasing a new mixtape Paps and Jazz with guest appearances from Chuck Inglish and Blended Babies.
"I got two projects coming out. Nobody knows this by the way. We have a joint called Paps and Jazz, which is just a mixtape. Chuck Inglish is on it, Blended Babies and a lot of my homies are just jamming, chill, stream-of-conscious stuff. And then we have the new album Is This Too Orange."
He said that the title came to him while he was waking up one morning and that the color "orange" had more significance than he originally thought. "[It] actually hit me during a half-asleep, half-awake thing. I was waking up, and it just came to me. It turns out that orange is the color of the creative Chakra."
