After last night’s surprise pregnancy announcement at the MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce and Jay-Z have much to plan for. The pregnancy has already impacted production on a new film Beyonce has been tied to, Clint Eastwood’s A Star Is Born. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. hoped to begin production for the film in February of 2012, but the start date could be pushed back now that Beyonce’s pregnancy has been announced.

The push can also be a positive tool for the studio because it still has yet to find a male lead in the film. Some speculate Christian Bale, Will Smith and Leonardo DiCaprio have been approached about co-starring with Beyonce. No actor has finalized the deal as of yet.

Beyonce expressed her emotions last night, during the Video Music Awards by saying, “Tonight…I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.”

UPDATE: Beyonce has exited Clint Eastwood’s A Star is Born remake, reports Variety. Warner Bros. had no comment, but sources say that her schedule was too packed and an unconfirmed start date made it complicated for her to commit.
