Last night, G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean was arrested in Buffalo, New York on a sex abuse complaint following an Artpark concert.
According to Buffalo News (via RR), the 23-year-old was charged with third-degree sex abuse, forcible touching and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Also arrested was Detroit, Michigan’s Willie Antonio Hansbro on the same charges. Both posted $500 bail and were later released.
Detective Sgt. Brian Nisbet said that a female victim issued a complaint that she had been sexually assaulted around 9:50 p.m. Big Sean’s publicist declined to comment.

UPDATE: Big Sean’s lawyer Scott E. Leemon has issued a statement regarding last night’s incident, explaining that he is confident they will be “vindicated” (via Miss Info).
“Last night, recording artists, Sean ‘Big Sean’ Anderson and Willie ‘Sayitainttone’ Hansbro were arrested and then immediately released by the NY State Police in connection with an allegation made by a female who was at their concert in Lewiston, New York.
Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations.

UPDATE #2: Big Sean and Willie Antonio Hansbro appeared before a judge yesterday for their arraignments for allegedly sexually abusing a 17-year-old female fan.

According to Buffalo News, Deputy District Attorney Holly E. Sloma asked Judge Hugh C. Gee Sr. to impose a gag order on the case, due to its “sensitive nature and age of the victim.” A grand jury has already been scheduled for the case, which will automatically move to Niagara County Court if the two are indicted.
The next court date is scheduled for October 11th in Lewiston.

UPDATE #3: Big Sean is off the hook in his sexual assault charge stemming from August 2011.
According to TMZ, prosecutors dropped charges of third degree sex abuse and forcible touching on the condition that he plead guilty to misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment, which has a $750 fine. Big Sean’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, still maintains that “he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct.”
