As everyone in Canada was gearing up for a week long tour of rap superstar DMX, unexpected news came late last night (Thursday March 21, 2003) from the DMX camp.
"Due to the intensified security crackdown in the U.S., current travel restrictions due to the War in Iraq, and the unwillingness of Canada's government to allow DMX into the country at this time, DMX will not be performing in Canada March 21-29."
DMX latter came on record to stat "I feel very bad and cheated that I am unable to give the Canadian fans back the love they give me."
This has been a reoccurring problem in Canada as many rap artists get sent home because they themselves or some one in their entourage has a criminal record.
