Jim Jones recently spoke on the upcoming Diplomats album and movie, describing the latter as an “action flick.” Juelz Santana has revealed further details surrounding the film, telling XXL Magazine that its working title is Diplomatic Immunity and that the plot will reflect their break-up and reunion.

“It’s gon’ be [about] the break up and us gettin’ back together leadin’ into the album,” he explained. “The album is gonna be like the soundtrack to the movie. It’s just gonna be everything from [Cam’ron] meeting Biggie to him meeting me and us becoming The Diplomats.”

Juelz continued by explaining that it’s going to be more along the lines of a biopic than a documentary, only the crew will be starring as themselves. “It’s gonna be a movie like the way they did Notorious,” he said. “But we’re just gonna be playin’ ourselves. That might be the first [movie] where we get to play ourselves instead of havin’ people. We’ll do it when we’re younger, but as it gets to us we’ll really play ourselves, cut the hair off our face so we look younger and shit like that.”

As for looking different at a younger age, Juelz admitted that they’ll have to make some concessions. “Cam might have to gain some weight from when he was big,” he explained. “Jim would have to grow his braids back, get some extensions and all that ’cause he cut his hair. We gon’ figure it out, but we gon’ do it right.”
