Hip Hop Album Sales: The Week Ending 7/10/2011

Beyonce stays killing 'em on this week's chart, which also sees a new release from Lloyd and continued success for Big Sean, Royce Da 5'9 & Eminem and more.

Beyonce was onto something when she said girls run the world.

Now in the second week following the release of her new album 4, Bey's latest sold added another 115,000 units to the tally, upping her overall cume to 426,000. The Destiny's Child alum's fourth solo offering features an appearance by Outkast's Andre 3000, along with production from Kanye West and his production team - including Jeff Bhasker, as well as a writing credit to former G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence.

Royce Da 5'9 and Eminem continued their reign as Bad Meets Evil with Hell: The Sequel, climbing from No. 9 to 5 with an additional 35,000 copies. As of now, the Motor City natives are gradually approaching gold status with an overall tally at 311,000 units sold.

Jill Scott continued to reign in the Top 10, dropping from No. 5 to 9 with another 32,000 added to the pile. As of now, the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania powerhouse stands triumphant with 223,000 total copies sold of Light of the Sun, which touts guest appearances from Paul Wall, Eve, Doug E. Fresh, Anthony Hamilton and more.

G.O.O.D. Music's latest artist, Detroit, Michigan's Big Sean, drops from No. 3 to 9 in his second week on the charts. The Def Jam Records-backed emcee sold over 85,000 first-week units on his solo debut, pushing another 27,000 copies this week. Finally Famous: The Album was largely produced by longtime Common mentor No I.D., and featured appearances from DXnext alumni Chiddy Bang and Wiz Khalifa, along with Lupe Fiasco.

Lady killer Lloyd scores a Top 10 debut with his latest King of Hearts, which moved 26,000 copies in its first week.
