Brooklyn, New York emcee-turned-reality television star Lil’ Kim has maintained a longstanding professional relationship with 50 Cent and G-Unit Records since 2003’s “Magic Stick.” On June 18, while G-Unit’s latest signing, Shawty Lo, performed at Atlanta, Georgia’s Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash 16, he brought out the former Junior M.A.F.I.A. member as his guest.

According to Rap-Up.com, Kim told the crowd on hand, “If y’all don’t know, this my boy right here. G-Unit South, that’s where it’s at… And I’m family too, down with the G-Unit camp. We got surprises for y’all.”

It has been six years since Lil’ Kim released a studio album. On February 14 of this, she released her Black Friday mixtape, which she self-released to fans through her website for $9.99.
