Tone Loc Pleads Not Guilty To Domestic Violence, Weapons Possession Charges
UPDATE: The "Funky Cold Medina" rapper pled not guilty to two charges, including assault and possession of an unregistered military weapon.
Tone Loc was arrested yesterday afternoon on account of felony domestic violence after engaging in a physical altercation with his child’s mother.
According to TMZ, the rapper, whose real name is Anthony Smith, went to visit the mother’s apartment complex around 2:45 p.m. in Burbank, California. After the alleged fight, he was arrested and booked into jail without incident several hours later.
Loc is being held on $50,000 bail.
UPDATE: Tone Loc pled not guilty yesterday to two felonies, including assaulting the mother of his child and possession of an "unregistered, military-grade assault rifle." According to TMZ, police found a Colt AR-15 Sporter in an investigation launched after his arrest last month. Loc is scheduled to return to court in two weeks.
