Producer Alex Da Kid, mastermind behind Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” and B.o.B’s “Airplanes,” has signed a deal with Interscope Records to launch his own label KIDinaKORNER.

“Developing artists that influence and shape popular culture in an authentic way has always been a huge goal of mine,” said the British hit maker. “Jimmy Iovine understands that and has been a true mentor to me over the past year. I look forward to continuing all the success we have already had together.”

The shingle’s first release will be Skylar Grey’s debut album, led by the single “Dance Without You.” She previously contributed vocals to Lupe Fiasco’s “Words I Never Said” and Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor.”
