The smooth crooner will release the album's lead single "A Long Time" on May 24th.

Following the success of his indie debut A Strange Arrangement, Mayer Hawthorne has signed to Universal Republic Records to release his sophomore album How Do You Do. The LP, slated to drop in the fall, features the single “A Long Time,” releasing digitally on May 24th

In anticipation of his album’s release, Hawthorne is currently on the road with Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae as part of their “Hooligans in Wondaland” tour. The trek, which kicked off on May 4th at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom, will continue through June before wrapping at Phoenix, Arizona’s Comerica Theatre on June 15th.

Hawthorne most recently released the Impressions - The Covers EP, which featured newly configured renditions of songs by Electric Light Orchestra, Jon Brion, Textbook Northern Soul, Chromeo and more.
