The nominees for the BET Awards 2011 have been announced ahead of the 11th annual event, broadcasting live from Los Angeles on June 26th. Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, this year’s ceremony honors nominees from top dogs like Kanye West and Lil Wayne to newcomers including Cymphonique and Cali Swag District.

In the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist category, nominees include B.o.B, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Drake. For Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, only four artists were honored including Nicki Minaj, Cymphonique, Diamond and LoLa Monroe.

Cali Swag District, which lost its member M-Bone yesterday, was honored in the Best Group category, where they’re up against New Boyz, N.E.R.D, Diddy-Dirty Money and Travis Porter. On the R&B tip, Best Male R&B Artist nods go to Chris Brown, Usher, Trey Songz, Cee Lo Green and Bruno Mars, while Best Female R&B Artist nominees include Beyonce, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Keri Hilson and Marsha Ambrosius.

Best New Artist nominees include J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Bruno Mars, Willow Smith and Miguel. Chris Brown scores two nominations in Best Collaboration for “Deuces” featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall and “Look At Me Now” featuring Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne. Breezy is up against B.o.B and Hayley Williams’ “Airplanes,” Rihanna and Drake’s “What’s My Name?” Waka Flock Flame, Roscoe Dash and Wale’s “No Hands” and Kanye West and Rihanna’s “All of the Lights.”

Video of the Year nominees are Kanye West’s “Runaway,” B.o.B’s “Airplanes,” Keri Hilson’s “Pretty Girl Rock,” Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair,” Marsha Ambrosius’ “Far Away” and Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now.” Video Director honorees are Benny Boom, Hype Williams, Kanye West, Chris Robinson and Mr. Boomtown.
