“Rucker Park” Gets A Movie
If his first two films are any indication, "The Rucker" should rock. For those that missed "Undercover Brother" in theaters, the DVD is now available. It includes over eight hours of special features: the video for Snoop's "Undercover Brother (Give Up The Funk)," the original internet shorts that inspired the film, an alternative ending, a blooper reel, a making-of feature, commentary from Eddie Griffin (Undercover Brother) and Lee and interactive games ("Cadillac Drive and Jive" and "Afro Attack").
This flick is truly funny. Part Shaft, Bruce Lee, Michael Jackson, Re-Run and Austin Powers, Eddie Griffin, a.k.a. Undercover Brother helps The B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D. in their ongoing struggle to stop The Man and his evil agents, Mr. Feather (Chris Kattan) and White She Devil (Denise Richards). By his side are Sistah Girl (Aunjanue Ellis) and Conspiracy Brother (David Chappelle). Though the plot sounds corny, the jokes are right on, and it's no surprise the film grossed 38 million at the box office and received 6 REEL Award nominations.
