Brown alleges that he wrote two songs on the multi-platinum album Mo Thugs Family Scriptures. Specifically, he alleges that he wrote “Take Your Time” and “Here With Me” by girl group Tre.

The lawsuit claims that Mo Thugs, Inc. paid no royalties, despite the album’s platinum status, and the platinum status of its follow-up, Mo Thug: Family Reunion.

Brown seeks $24 million in damages and $3 million in mechanical royalties for the single, music video, and Scriptures album.
