After bolstering the Maybach Music Group roster by signing Wale, Pill and Meek Mill, Rick Ross has reportedly signed Cleveland-based emcee Stalley. Stalley apparently met with Ross’ camp backstage at Lil Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” tour. Ross and Stalley then traded a series of messages via Twitter over the weekend and continued through the earlier portions of the week.

The Wale, Pill and Meek Mill signings began in a similar fashion, with all parties keeping Twitter abuzz after some informal, personal meetings. Once the paperwork was taken care of, Ross quickly put the wheels in motion to secure a deal with Warner Music Group and put out the upcoming Self Made compilation.

Stalley has been making his rounds—most notably with his Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Muzik) project. If a deal is finalized, Stalley most likely will not make the May 24 release date of Self Made, which has presumably been recorded already.
