Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation label and management firm has been sued over trademark infringement. Volcom, a California-based clothing company, has stepped to the Nation over the use of their diamond in the company logo and trademark.

Volcom alleges the following, “While Roc Nation appears to have initially used the diamond only in combination with the words ‘Roc Nation’ it is now using the diamond log on its own, causing a likelihood of confusion among consumers.”

While Volcom claims they have invested over $100,000 in building their own trademark, there is no word yet on the monetary damages sought in the suit.
