The Weightless crews producer/emcee extraordinaire will be dropping a solo album on March 11th via Weightless Recordings. The Weightroom, which will be produced entirely by Blueprint, will feature Slug, Aesop Rock, Eyedea, Illogic, Vast Aire, Greenhouse Effect and more...

In another March 11th release, be on the look out for the Mountain Brothers sophomore album. Triple Crown will feature Styles of Beyond, DJ Jay-Ski and DJ Qwestion...

Eminem recently spoke about the status of Obie Trices debut opus and the status of the Dirty Dozen. "Obie is in the studio. His album is half-done. We are hoping for spring [for Trice's release] and D-12 in the fall. And we've already got songs for that album. We sneak [recording D12] songs in between 50's album. And Obie's album ... expect the same quality as 50's album, from my album, from Dre's album. It's the same type of producers, it's the same type of perfectionists in the studio with every artist. This was released on Aftermath.com...

Brooklyns own Pumkinhead will be released his second album soon, an EP called A Beautiful Mind. This will drop via Third Earth Music and will feature production from labelmate, Kimani (of the Masterminds). February 11th is the street date...

On Kiss 107.9, Ja Rule claims that The Last Temptation has had poor album sales because his African American fans have turned against him and did not support this album, which he says they should. He also claimed that he is the most talented rapper in the world...
