Phat Farm Sue "Phag Farm" Maker For Trademark Infringement

A Florida-based t-shirt company is allegedly bootlegging Russell Simmon's former brand, and calling it "hot and gay."
Last week, Russell Simmons' former Phat Farm Clothing company filed a $7 million lawsuit against a Florida-based t-shirt company who has made shirts under the "Phag Farm" moniker.
This is not the first two the two parties have clashed. In 2008, the "Phag Farm" maker, Lisa Wright was unable to trademark the name after she was cease-and-desisted from Phat Fashions, Phat Farm's parent company. Additionally, the seven-figure suit alleges that "Phag Farm" is compromising the brand by advertising the company as being "hot and gay."
