Diddy Donates $100,000 To Young Entrepreneurs Foundation
The Bad Boy puts his money behind the 100 Urban Entrepreneurs organization
Sean "Diddy" Combs was honored this past Sunday (February 13) at the 2011 Annual Bryan-Michael Cox Pre-Grammy Brunch. The annual event, which took place at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills, was organized by Cox, SESAC and 100 Urban Entrepreneurs.
100 Young Entrepreneurs is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help provide a meaningful, long-term economic boost to urban communities throughout the United States by supporting entrepreneurship at its earliest stages.
After hearing the stories of the young go-getters, Diddy was inspired to dig into his wallet and donate $100,000 to the foundation.
“"Puff challenged me early on by asking, Son, do you know how hot you really are? I walked away wanting to make even greater music," Bryan-Michael Cox said. "Minorities are fundamentally at a disadvantage because many lack the access to financial resources and mentoring opportunities to start sustainable businesses."
