Odd Future To Appear On "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," The Roots Backing

L.A. Hip Hop collective gets a national televised look with The Roots, as Tyler, The Creator tweets, "I want to scare the fuck out of old white fucking people that live in Middle fucking America."

One of the premiere television destinations for Hip Hop, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon has announced that they have invited Los Angeles, California Hip Hop collective Odd Future to appear on February 16. This will be Odd Future's first nationally-televised appearance in a year that's seen the group receive media attention from Fader, The Wire and other major outlets.

The performance will reportedly pair Tyler, The Creator and Hodgy Beats with legendary Philadelphia Hip Hop band The Roots. There is no word what songs will be performed. Asked about the significance of the event, Hodgy told HipHopDX, "OFWGKTA is for the kids." Meanwhile, Tyler, The Creator is reportedly forward-looking to the opportunity to bring Odd Future's brand of music to a new outlet.
