Brooklyn, New York emcee veteran Sean Price is hard at work on his third official solo album, Mic Tyson. While the Heltah Skeltah member has released several commercial mixtapes in the four years since Jesus Price Superstar, the follow-up is promising to excite fans of the Boot Camp Clik lyricist.

“Right now, I’m on a roll. I got some joints, man. I went to L.A. and recorded some joints with Alchemist for Mic Tyson,” said Price to Las Vegas, Nevada radio deejay Bootleg Kev in a recent interview. “I’ve been on a roll, writin’ everyday. Verses are fire – retardation. I can’t wait.”

Additionally, Sean confirmed recording with one of Duck Down Records’ newest artists, Harlem’s Black Rob. The former Bad Boy Records star and Price have reportedly already recorded a song together, though it’s presently unclear where it will end up.

2011 may prove to be Sean’s busiest year in his 16-plus years as a professional emcee. Conforming an EP with producer/deejay Statik Selektah, Sean said, “I just gotta get to it, man.” The EP’s name will reportedly be Andrew Price Clay.

Beyond that, Price is planning Random Axe with Guilty Simpson and Black Mik, presently due around April. Sean also has an album in the works with Ill Bill, though details remain unknown.
