Kanye West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" Certified Platinum By RIAA

'Ye does it for the fifth straight time, selling over a million copies of his acclaimed album.

This weekend, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) confirmed that Kanye West's fifth album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, has reached 1,000,000 units sold. Commemorating this platinum status certification, West has now met this feat with all five of his albums, all of which have been released through New York's Def Jam Records.

West's latest offering, which has been praised by critics, features the likes of Nicki Minaj, Raekwon, Pusha T and Jay-Z. Domestically, the album has sold over 800,000 copies to date.
