In BET’s 30th anniversary, the Black Entertainment Television network is reportedly celebrating its most successful year to date. According to TVByTheNumbers.com, the network averaged 506,000 viewers. This is the second straight year of growth.

In the report, key growths include The Mo’Nique Show, which ranks #1 amoung African Americans in late night television. Additionally, the network acquired film airing rights such as the Academy Award-winning The Last King of Scotland, American Gangster  and Madea’s Family Reunion.

In the realm of music programming, BET still boasts 106 & Park and the newly-premiered My Mic Sounds Nice.
