Planet Asia Assaulted At Show
As part of the Cali Comm tour, Planet Asia was recently performing at 1st Avenue, a club in Minneapolis. After his set, he tried to re-enter the backstage area but the bouncer would not let him pass, despite that he was just on stage.
A conversation between the two led to the bouncer calling for back up. At that point seven other bouncers showed up and beat down Planet Asia.
Since the incident, Planet Asia told Allhiphop about the situation, "It is tragic to recognize that in 2002, we are still physically living the parallel dramas as Rodney King. It is serious business when you can perform at a club in 2002 and security that watched you perform can assault you afterward."
