It has been announced that one of Canada’s biggest stars will host their high-profile music awards. Toronto, Ontario’s Drake has signed on to host the March 27 Juno Awards, according to The Toronto Sun.

The Thank Me Later platinum star said in a statement, “I am beyond honoured to be hosting this monumental Juno Awards in the greatest city on Earth.” As indicated in his quote, the 40th annual Juno Awards will take place in Toronto. The nominations will be announced February 1.

Previous Juno winners from the Hip Hop community include Drake, K-os and Buck 65.
