UPDATE: Two and a half years later, Busta Rhymes is reportedly dusting off the plans to release the sequel until 1998's "Extinction Level Event."

Busta Rhymes announced earlier today in a Tweet that comedian Chris Rock will be playing a major role on his upcoming album Extinction Level Event II. Rock, who has starred in films such as Head of State and most recently Grown Ups, will be narrating the sequel to Busta's hit 1998 album. Busta also posted a picture of the two stars in the studio (see link below).

This isn't the first time that rappers have courted the former Saturday Night Live star. Chris Rock has lent his voice to a number of other emcees' projects, including Ludacris' Theater of the Mind and the song "Blame Game" off of Kanye West's upcoming album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
